Job Description
The Role:
Seeking for Armature Winders/Fitter Winder with electrical knowledge to make or fit or repair electrical machines or appliances. Sound knowledge of requirements for winding, fitting, machining, and all workshop requirements. Ability to operate a forklift and crane will be an advantage.
The Ideal Candidate
• Preferences Tradesman's certificate in related industry.
• Sound knowledge of workshop procedures.
• Able to Safely perform all tests / electrical tests in workshop
• Excellent communication skills/Problem solving skills.

Armature Winders/Fitter Winders may complete the following tasks:
• Apply OHS practices in the workplace
• Dismantle, assemble and fabricate electrotechnology components
• Solve problems in extra-low voltage single path circuits
• Solve problems in multiple path D.C circuits
• Using drawings, diagrams, schedules and manuals
• Document occupational hazards and risks in electro technology
• Participate in development and follow personal competency development plan
• Winding coils
• Place and connect coils
• Maintain documentation
• Source and purchase material/parts for installation or service jobs
• Receive and store materials and equipment for electro technology work
• Deliver a service to customers
• Use basic computer applications relevant to a workplace
• Provide basic information in the use of electro technology apparatus
• Carry out basic repairs to electrical apparatus
